Welcome to Super Savvy Travelers, LLC. We are Chris and Pete Sobolev.

We established Super Savvy Travelers to provide personalized travel experiences in Italy, and because of very high demand, have recently branched out into helping people find and purchase their dream homes in Italy and move there.

Our YouTube channel is exploding! We have many videos on purchasing your home in Italy (for as little as one Euro!) and moving to Italy. We also feature videos on the beautiful places we see and experiences we are lucky to have as homeowners in Italy! Come see our videos and enjoy!

Chris is a licensed California real estate professional and with her knowledge of real estate in general and our combined knowledge of the Italian property market and the Italian purchase and renovation processes, we have jumped in to help those who need it in this area.

Together we have purchased and renovated several properties in Italy. Our newest venture is Casa Cristina, a ruined beauty steps from the village square of Santa Domenica Talao’s historic center. Casa Cristina is an early 18th century beauty with fabulous bones and will be renovated to house 6 vacation rental units, including one complete apartment for traveling families.

We have been quite successful in helping people transition to an Italian lifestyle, as several of our clients have found properties through us. We provide hands on assistance and guide you through the process from start to finish, pointing you to the reliable Italian professionals that are a part of our team.

We spend much of our time at our second home in Santa Domenica Talao in Calabria, Italy, and through this have gained much knowledge and experience in Italy.

We believe the most important part of any travel experience is the connection you make with people, and we strive to incorporate this aspect of travel in all of our travel planning for our clients.

And of course, if you want to see the real Italy, we can book photographers’ tours, culinary tours, shopping tours or any tour you could possibly dream up, through our extensive network of contacts and suppliers.

in 2011, we purchased a home in Santa Domenica Talao in Calabria, Italy.  It has been a treasure trove of new and wonderful experiences and lifelong friendships.

Our home is a perfect jumping-off point for all of Europe,  Africa, and the Middle East, with an endless array of travel opportunities to these locations.

Pete Sobolev is an experienced traveler,  having worked for many years leading global engineering teams that provided opportunities for frequent travel to the Far East and Europe.
